Keeping all rows on a refresh

When you are performing a refresh on a target table, you can specify that all rows should be kept.

1. Click Configuration > Subscriptions.
2. Select the subscription.

   Ensure that the subscription contains a table mapping that was mapped using Standard, Adaptive Apply, Summarization or Consolidation.

3. Select the table mapping in the Table Mappings view.
4. Right-click and select Open Details....
5. Click the Operation tab.
6. From the On Clear/Truncate list, select Do Not Delete.
7. Click Save.

Results

When you start a refresh on a table mapping, CDC Replication does not delete the rows in the target table.
