acceptable_latency_in_minutes
Use this system parameter to indicate the maximum latency that would be acceptable in your business environment. CDC Replication temporarily buffers data during replication in order to minimize its workload on the Netezza database.
Versions supported—CDC Replication Engine for Netezza® Technology version 6.5.2 and later
This buffering can increase latency. If the latency reaches the point indicated by this system parameter CDC Replication will stop buffering the data. It is primarily the number of tables being replicated that impacts the additional workload that will occur when CDC Replication stops buffering the data. Increasing this parameter may significantly reduce the workload from CDC Replication when you are replicating a large number of tables.
