Explanation—A
report of the database management system support in the CDC Replication address
space. This message is issued in response to a DSPACT=DBMS or DSPACT=ALL command
issued from the operator console. The State setting indicates the
current state of database management system support in the CDC Replication address
space; in the case of 'Hot-Standby', the Database management system
support has completed initialization, but the metadata is currently
in use by another (Active) instance of CDC for Db2® for z/OS®.
Message Variables:
number—The number of Db2 repositories that CDC Replication is supporting.
type—Indicates the manner in which processing is being shut down. A shut down is initiated by a SHUTDOWN command issued from the operator console. If CDC Replication database management system support is not in a Terminating state, then the manner in which processing is being shut down is not applicable.
