Explanation—While initializing the first connection to the Db2 subsystem, InfoSphere CDC for z/OS detected that Db2 12 is being used, but the APPLCOMPAT value that was set for at least one of the packages that were bound for InfoSphere CDC for z/OS is for a non-Db2 12 application compatibility level (that is, Db2 11 or 10). This setting is inconsistent with how InfoSphere CDC for z/OS was developed and tested, and can cause problems during execution.

System Action—InfoSphere CDC for z/OS suspends, awaiting a termination directive. A InfoSphere CDC for z/OS utility (such as CHCMDMUT) terminates prematurely.

Operator Response—None.

Client Administrator Response—Ensure that all DBRMs that are distributed with InfoSphere CDC for z/OS are bound into Db2 packages that have an APPLCOMPAT value with format V12R1Mxxx, where xxx is a valid and activated function level. Restart InfoSphere CDC for z/OS or its utility that issued the message.
