Adding a data translation

You can create a data translation to convert the data from a source column into new data you set for a mapped target column.

1. Click Configuration > Subscriptions.
2. Select the subscription.
3. Click the Table Mappings view and select the table mapping from the Source Table column.
4. Right-click and select Open Details....
5. Click the Translation tab.
6. Select a mapped source and target column.
7. Click Add.
8. Enter the data you want to translate in the From Value box.
9. If you want to translate a NULL data type, then check the Translate from NULL box.
10. Enter the value to which you want to translate, in the To Value box.
11. If you want to translate to a NULL value, check the Translate to NULL box.
12. If you want to add another translation, click Add to add the current translation and prepare the dialog for the creation of another translation. If you do not want to add another data translation, click OK.
13. Click Save.
