General product system parameters

General product system parameters let you control basic features of CDC Replication and information you may have specified during installation.

db_system_timezone_override
This system parameter overrides the timezone of the database server's local time.
global_trace_utility_create_on_demand
Use this system parameter to specify when trace files are generated for utility commands.
global_trace_hours
Use this system parameter to specify the number of hours for which tracing is to be enabled.
global_column_name_length_limit_chars
Use this parameter to set the maximum length of a Kafka topic field name that corresponds to a source column. If the length of the source column exceeds this value, the Kafka topic field name is truncated to the specified length.
