Deleting an encryption profile with the graphical user interface

You can delete an encryption profile by using the graphical configuration program.

About this task

If you delete an encryption profile that is in use by one or more CDC Replication instances, then those instances will fail.

Procedure

  1. At the command prompt, launch the configuration tool by issuing one of the following commands:
    Windows
     /CDC_Replication_installation_directory\bin\dmconfigurets.exe
    Linux, UNIX
     /CDC_Replication_installation_directory/bin/dmconfigurets
  2. In the Encryption Profiles area, click Manage.
  3. Select the encryption profile that you want to delete and click Delete.
  4. Click Yes to delete the encryption profile.
