You can monitor activity and identify problems with the
replication activity of your subscriptions by viewing the events and
messages generated by CDC Replication during
replication activities.
Before you begin
This task applies only to datastores that are version 6.5
and later.
Procedure
- Click .
- Select a subscription.
- Double-click Current Replication Events in
the bottom section of the window.
The display changes
to show a list of events.
- Click Retrieve Events and choose
the quantity of events to retrieve:
- Last 24 Hours
- Retrieves events from the last 24 hours.
- Last 7 Days
- Retrieves events from the last seven calendar days.
- Last 30 Days
- Retrieves events from the last thirty calendar days.
- All Events
- Retrieves all events. If the quantity of events is large, there
may be a delay while they are loaded.
- Custom
- Allows you to retrieve events based on a date range that you determine
or by specific categories of events.
Alternately, you can click
to retrieve any events that have occurred subsequent to your
last retrieval.
- If you want to filter the display by event source category,
click one of the following items:
- Subscription
- Filters the display to include only events that apply to the subscription.
- Single Scrape
- Filters the display to include only events that apply to Single
Scrape. This option will be unavailable if Single Scrape is not supported
by the replication engine.
- Datastore
- Filters the display to include only events that apply to the datastore.
- Source
- Filters the display to include only events generated by the source
datastore.
- Target
- Filters the display to include only events generated by target
datastore.
- If you want to filter the display by type of event, click Errors or Warnings at
the bottom of the events list.
