Customizing IBM DataStage table mappings

After you have mapped tables for a subscription that uses the CDC Replication Engine for InfoSphere® DataStage® as a target datastore, you can customize your table mappings.

Customize your table mappings by creating derived columns, by filtering rows and columns, and by specifying how CDC Replication converts character sets on source columns during replication:
Derived Columns
Used to create an expression that is evaluated by CDC Replication on a source column. The results of the expression are sent to the target system, IBM® DataStage.
Multibyte and Unicode Character Set Conversions
Used to specify how CDC Replication converts character sets on source columns during replication.
Filtering Rows and Columns
Used to include or exclude rows or columns for replication.
When customizing your IBM DataStage table mappings in Management Console, you will have access to a subset of functionality that is normally available for database targets. Functionality that is not available for IBM DataStage table mappings is not displayed or disabled.
