Compressed tables

In previous versions of the CDC Replication Engine for Oracle databases, partial support for tables with compressed data could be achieved with the use of table partitioning. CDC Replication now supports replication of tables with compressed data. This means that you can map compressed tables in Management Console.

CDC Replication supports compressed tables for Oracle databases 11.2 or later. Hybrid Columnar Compression available in Oracle Exadata version 2 is not supported at this time.
