System parameters for the CDC Replication Engine for Informix

System parameters let you control the behavior of the CDC Replication Engine for Informix®.

If your replication environment requires a particular configuration, then you can use system parameters to modify the behavior of default operations in the CDC Replication Engine for Informix. The default system parameter settings are appropriate for most installations. Maintain these default settings until you become familiar with the configuration of the CDC Replication Engine for Informix.

CDC Replication provides system parameters that control the behavior of your source and target datastores.

If you make changes to a system parameter during active replication, you must stop and restart the CDC Replication Engine for Informix for the changes to take effect.

When you upgrade to a later version of the CDC Replication Engine for Informix, any preexisting settings for system parameters are maintained.
