dmconfigurets - Launching the configuration tool

Use this command to launch the IBM® Data Replication - CDC Replication configuration tool.

You can use this tool to create and configure instances of CDC Replication.

If the DISPLAY environment variable has been set, the configuration tool will attempt to launch the graphical user interface (GUI) version of the configuration tool when this command is issued. If you do not have the graphical libraries installed to view the GUI, you will need to ensure that the DISPLAY environment variable has been cleared in order to launch the command line version.

Syntax

dmconfigurets [-L <locale>]

Parameters

[-L <locale>]: The name of the locale used for the CDC Replication instance. The default is your machine's locale.

Result

This command returns a value of 0 if the command was successful and a non-zero value if the command fails.
