Customizing Cloudant table mappings
After you have mapped tables for a subscription that targets Cloudant®, you can customize your table mappings.
Customize your table mappings by creating derived columns, by filtering
rows and columns, by specifying how CDC Replication converts character
sets on source columns during replication, and by modifying Cloudant options:
- Derived Columns
- Used to create an expression that is evaluated by CDC Replication on a source column. The results of the expression are sent to the target system.
- Multibyte and Unicode Character Set Conversions
- Used to specify how CDC Replication converts character sets on source columns during replication.
- Filtering Rows and Columns
- Used to include or exclude rows or columns for replication.
- Cloudant
- Used to modify the Cloudant Database, Primary Key and Parent Table for the mapping.
