Updating the IP address or hostname of the target datastore for a subscription after a failover

After each failover event you must update the IP address or hostname of the target datastore for a subscription.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Management Console by connecting to Access Server.
  2. Click Configuration > Subscriptions.
  3. Right-click the subscription and select Properties.
  4. Click Details to open the Modify Target Datastore dialog box.
  5. Select the alias that you created in the previous procedure in this section.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Repeat these steps for each subscription involved in the failover.
  8. Disconnect from Access Server and then reconnect to Access Server by logging in to Management Console. This will apply your configuration changes.
  9. Start replication on all subscriptions to the new primary server.
