Editing an instance of the CDC Replication Engine for Db2® Database (Windows)

You can edit an existing instance of CDC Replication.

Procedure

  1. At the command prompt, launch the configuration tool by issuing the following command in the specified directory: 
    \<CDC Replication installation directory>\bin\dmconfigurets.exe
  2. In the Instances area, select the instance that you want to modify and click Stop if the instance is started.
  3. In the Instances area, select an instance and click Edit.

    The CDC Replication Edit Instance dialog opens.

  4. You can modify any of the values on this dialog box that you specified when adding an instance.
  5. Click OK to save your changes and then click Close.

    The configuration tool will modify the instance.

  6. In the Instances area, select the instance that you modified and click Start to start the instance.
    Note: You can't modify the configuration mode during editing an instance.
