Once tracing is enabled for Management Console and Access Server, log files are generated which can be collected by Support Assistant.
Procedure
- Click
- Select the Enable the collection of tracing
information check box to activate tracing.
- In the Trace Methods area, select
one of the following options:
- Capture Access Server messages
- Select this option to diagnose configuration and monitoring problems
between Management Console, Access Server and datastores.
- This is the default setting.
- Capture Management Console messages
- Select this option to diagnose problems between a single Management Console, Access Server, and datastores.
- Capture Access Server logging information
- Select this option to diagnose Access Server–specific problems.
- Only select this option when instructed by IBM® Support.
- Click OK.
