You can enable a login policy to prevent computer password
attacks.
About this task
The policy creates a condition where a user will be locked
out of their account after a number of attempts. By default, this
setting is set to 3 login attempts.
Procedure
- Ensure that you are a system administrator and have the
privileges to manage datastores and user accounts.
- Click .
- Click Accounts.
- Enable the Lock accounts on failed login attempts check
box.
- Enter the maximum number of attempts before an accounts
is locked in the Consecutive failures before lock box.
The number must be between 1 and 100. The default number
is 3.
