Enforcing a password expiry

You can enhance security by ensuring that new passwords are created and associated with user accounts.

1. Ensure that you are a system administrator and have the privileges to manage datastores and user accounts.
2. Click File > Access Server > Access Server Options.
3. Click Passwords.
4. Enable the Enforce password expiry check box.
5. Enter the maximum number of days before a password expires in the Maximum password (age) box.

   The number must be between 1 and 999. The default number is 3.
