Starting Access Server

You must start Access Server before you can log in to Management Console.

About this task

If you have installed Access Server on a Windows platform, you can start Access Server using the Windows Services dialog.

If you have installed Access Server on a UNIX or Linux platform, then you can use the dmaccessserver command to start Access Server from the command line. You can locate this command from /bin directory of your installation.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the /bin directory in your Access Server installation directory.
  2. Issue the following command from the command line: 
    ./dmaccessserver &
