Context Mapping link attributes

Link attributes are attributes of a particular road link. Examples of attributes include speed limit, stop sign, and altitude. These attributes can be used for various analyses, both in real time and in batch. The attributes are typically fetched by using the Get road link information REST API. Unchangeable link attributes are retrieved from the map data that is deployed in the Dynamic Map Manager (DMM) and Link/Node. Available types of Link attributes depend on the map type that you use with IBM® IoT Connected Vehicle Insights.

You can register and fetch geometry-based dynamic attributes for a particular link, which is called Context, from your analysis logic by using Context Map. See also Making dynamic context changes to road data for the details.
