IBM® IoT Connected Vehicle Insights supports many of the most commonly recognized data standards and message formats for connecting vehicles and vehicle devices. The offering also supports common standards for retrieving and processing data and for developing automotive applications. Because of the standardized support, you can integrate existing vehicle data streams and other environmental systems into the service for a range of streaming and big data analytics.

MQTT messaging
MQTT is the machine-to-machine (M2M) Internet of Things connectivity protocol. Through the use of MQTT messaging, IBM IoT Connected Vehicle Insights can securely and reliably connect to millions of vehicles that subscribe to MQTT.
