What's new in IBM MQ for Multiplatforms - base and Advanced entitlement

On Multiplatforms, the following features and enhancements are available with both base product entitlement, and with Advanced entitlement.

• Customize column view in the IBM MQ Console
• Performance monitoring enhancements

Application development

• Multiple JMS connections can be treated as a single application instance
• Simplified configuration of AMQP and MQTT application properties

What's new in IBM MQ for Multiplatforms - Advanced entitlement only

On Multiplatforms, the following features and enhancements are available only with Advanced entitlement.

Security

• Managed File Transfer support for OpenSSH type Private key for SFTP servers

Administration

• Native HA cross-region replication in containers
• Simplifying data conversion with the Kafka Connect XML Converter
• Update to the Kafka Source and Sink connectors

What's new in IBM MQ for z/OS - base and Advanced VUE entitlement

On z/OS, the following features and enhancements are available both with base product entitlement, and with IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS Value Unit Edition (Advanced VUE) entitlement.

Administration

• The ability to administer z/OS coupling facility (CF) structures in the IBM MQ Console
• The ability to monitor shared message datasets in the IBM MQ Console
• Customize column view in the IBM MQ Console
• Data conversion support for the latest GB18030 standard
