Installing the IBM MQ resource adapters

The IBM® MQ resource adapter and IBM MQ resource adapter for Jakarta Messaging are supplied as a resource archive (RAR) file. The RAR file for the IBM MQ resource adapter (wmq.jmsra.rar) can be deployed into any application server that supports the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 7 (Java EE 7) or Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 8 (Java EE 8) specification. The RAR file for the IBM MQ resource adapter for Jakarta Messaging (wmq.jakarta.jmsra.rar) can be deployed into application servers that support the Jakarta EE 9.1 (or later) specification.
