Installing the Java EE database logger for MFT

Follow these instructions to install and configure the JEE database logger for use with Managed File Transfer.

About this task

For more information about the Java EE database logger, see the topic Configuring an MFT logger.

Note: You cannot run a Java EE database logger at the same time as a stand-alone logger, unless these loggers are using separate instances of the database.

Procedure

  1. Before installing the Java EE database logger, you must prepare your environment. Use the instructions in the topic Preparing to install the Java EE database logger for MFT.
  2. Install the Java EE database logger in a Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE)-compliant application server.
