For IBM® MQ Advanced for z/OS®, Value Unit Edition, IBM MQ 9.0.3 delivers a Connector Pack that includes three new features that provide connectivity for queue managers running on IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS VUE.

Agent remote connections with IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS, Value Unit Edition

IBM MQ 9.0.3 adds the ability for Managed File Transfer agents running on IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS, Value Unit Edition, to connect to a queue manager using a client connection. For more information, see Enable agent remote connections with IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS, Value Unit Edition.

Connectivity to IBM Blockchain service in IBM Cloud for IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS, Value Unit Edition queue managers

From IBM MQ 9.0.3 you can use the IBM MQ Bridge to blockchain to send simple queries to and receive responses from your IBM Blockchain service in IBM Cloud. For more information, see Configuring IBM MQ Advanced for z/OS VUE for use with the IBM Blockchain service in IBM Cloud.

Note: After 13 September 2017, the High Security Business Network vNext (Limited Beta) is no longer available. If you previously used the IBM MQ Bridge to blockchain to connect to an instance of the HSBN service in IBM Cloud, you will find that you are no longer able to do this as the limited beta for the service is ended.
