To report issues related to your IBM Integrated Analytics System
(M4001/M4002) appliance to IBM Support, you must identify the appropriate machine type and model
(MTM) and serial numbers.
About this task
Each IBM Integrated Analytics System appliance is identified by a single MTM and serial number.
To report a system problem to IBM Support, you need to know the MTM and serial number. There are
several ways to find the MTM and serial.
Procedure
- Using system command, run the ap info.

- Using system web console, select the About page in the top right
corner. You can also go to
- The MTM and serial are printed on the frame labels.
You can find the MTM on
the rear base of the frame in the lower right corner, inside the rear door and the serial number on
the top front of the frame in the upper right corner, inside the front door.
