Backing up data by using the web console

In addition to backing up data by using the command line, you can use the web console for data backups.

About this task

From the web console, you can specify daily full online backups, daily full offline backups, online incremental backups, or weekly backups.

To back up your data, take the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Access the web console at https://IP_address:11089.
  2. Click HIGH AVAILABILITY > Database Backup and Restore.
  3. You can schedule daily backups or weekly backups.
    1. To schedule daily backups, in the Daily backup settings field, toggle the switch to the on position.
      To edit the type of daily backup, destination, and schedule, click Edit in the lower right corner of the Daily backup settings field, set your options, and then click Update.
    2. To schedule weekly backups, in the Weekly backup settings field, toggle the switch to the on position.
      To edit the type of weekly backup, destination, and schedule, click Edit in the lower right corner of the Weekly backup settings field, set your options, and then click Update.
    3. To run an immediate backup, click Back up now.

Results

If the data backup completes successfully, you get a message.
