High availability

Integrated Analytics System is a highly available integrated system that provides for business continuity in the presence of hardware failures. This high availability is provided by redundant and resilient hardware elements and two different software components.

While the software components are the same on all IAS models, hardware components differ depending on the model that you purchase. Read the section that applies to your model.

Note:

Wolverine-managed certificates, used for secure communication on port 9443, cannot be replaced with customer-signed certificates. These certificates are generated and maintained internally by the service, and there is no supported process for external modification.

Manual changes to the certificate may lead to:

Non-persistent updates (certificates may regenerate on service restart).
Broken API access and potential service disruption.
Unpredictable impact, as the service is not designed for external certificate management.

Currently, the use of customer-signed certificates is not supported.
