Analyzing data

After loading your data into the data warehouse, you can run analytics software that you connect to the database, or run R scripts from within your Db2® Warehouse environment.

Watson Studio Local
Starting with IAS 1.0.19.0, you are entitled to five user licenses of Watson Studio Local. You can install the software on your own hardware.
Data Science Experience integration (deprecated)
IBM Data Science Experience Local (DSX Local) is an out-of-the-box on-premises enterprise solution for data scientists and data engineers. It offers a suite of data science tools that are integrated with IBM technologies. It also seamlessly integrates with RStudio, Spark, and Jupyter notebook technologies. Analyzing with Spark in Db2 Warehouse
Db2 Warehouse includes an integrated Apache Spark cluster environment that is optimized for use with Db2 Warehouse, which boosts its performance. You can run Spark applications in this environment to analyze data contained in the database and to write results to the database.
R analytics
You can run R scripts that retrieve data from and write data to a Db2 database.
Installing Python packages on Db2 Warehouse
Application code that is written in Python often uses functions that are provided by Python packages. The installed packages are automatically available on each Db2 Warehouse node in a cluster.

You can use stored procedures to analyze data.
Analyzing with Spatial Extender
Use Spatial Extender to generate and analyze spatial information about geographic features, and to store and manage the data on which this information is based. A geographic feature (sometimes called feature in this discussion, for short) is anything in the real world that has an identifiable location, or anything that could be imagined as existing at an identifiable location.
