Required security certificates

Two different types of security certificate are used in replication: The Db2® SSL certificate, and the Web console custom certificate.

• The Db2 SSL certificate must be exchanged between the source and target systems. This certificate might change when you upgrade the Db2 container to a new version.
• The Web console custom certificate is used by replication at the source to trust the target. Normally, this certificate does not change after a container update.
