Managing source credentials

You can update the user ID and password that are used for connecting to the replication source database, for example if these credentials expire.

1. Open the Edit Source Information window in one of two ways:
   • If you receive a warning message in the web console that user credentials expired, click Manage Source.
     

   • From the Data Replication screen, click Manage Source.
     

2. On the Edit Source Information window, update the user name or password.
   You cannot update the host IP address or port.
3. Click Test Connection.
4. After a successful connection is confirmed, click Apply.
