Checking the status of replication

You can check the overall status of replication and the status for each replication set with the graphical tools in the replication console.

On the home page for the IBM® Integrated Analytics System web console, a pre-defined widget shows the number of replication sets that are active, inactive, or configuring, and the number of alerts that were issued, as Figure 1 shows

To check the status of individual replication sets you can use the Replication Set Availability feature on the status screen for each replication set.

You can check at a glance the following measures of replication set status:

Current® Status
Active, inactive, or configuring (still being created).
Last Consistency Point
Helps you determine how caught up replication at the target is with respect to database activity at the source. It is the source commit time for which all transactions to that point have been applied to the target.
Tables Status
A summary of the status of all tables in the set. You can click the Loading indicator to drill down on the status.

Figure 2 shows the Replication Set Availability feature.

To get more information about the status of the individual tables in the replication set, use the area at the bottom of the screen, which provides table status and shows any error or warning messages. You can hover over the status to see more details.
