Administering replication

The following information describes common tasks that an administrator performs to maintain IBM® Data Replication for Availability

Starting replication sets
You can start replication for an entire replication set.
Starting replication for tables
You can start replication for an individual table in a replication set if the set is running:
Stopping replication sets
You can stop replication for an entire replication set.
Stopping replication for tables
You can stop replication for individual tables in a replication set.
Editing a replication set
You can add or remove tables from an existing replication set and change the set name.
Removing DATA CAPTURE CHANGES from non-replicated tables
You can run a script to remove the DATA CAPTURE CHANGES attribute from tables at the source database that are not being replicated.
Deleting a replication set
You delete a replication set to remove it from the console.
Managing source credentials
You can update the user ID and password that are used for connecting to the replication source database, for example if these credentials expire.
Managing targets
You can edit, test, or remove replication targets from the Manage Targets screen.
Removing the replication environment
You can use a built-in script to undo all changes that were made to enable replication.
