Version 1.0.16.0 release notes (March 2019)
IBM Integrated Analytics System Version 1.0.16.0 includes a number of
improvements.
What's new
- IAS M4002-001 model introduced on 27 March 2019
- The smallest data warehousing appliance in the IAS family, M4002-001 model is a single Lenovo D2 enclosure that can be installed on a customer-provided rack. It contains three SD530 nodes, and attaches directly to customer-provided PDUs and network switches. For a detailed overview of the appliance, see Integrated Analytics System M4002-001 model overview.
- Backup and restore
- For backup and restore using EMC, db_backup and db_restore commands now supports -sessions option. It specifies the number of sessions that can be used. If -sessions option is not specified, the number of sessions is set to 1 by default.
- Reliability and serviceability
-
- The default collection history of db2support is changed from 14 to 2 days. If you want to increase the collection history, you can run the apdiag command with additional option --comp-param database/support:' -H 14d'.
- Starting from 1.0.16.0, the core files will not be collected by default. To collect core files, you should use the apdiag command with the --skip-cores no option.
