Configuring and running data movement

After you have prepared the XML configuration file, you can use IBM® Fast Data Movement to transfer data between Db2® Warehouse and Hadoop. You can run the data transfer from the Hadoop system, or from the Db2 Warehouse container.

Before you begin

The data movement feature transfers data directly between Hadoop data nodes and the Db2 Warehouse. Therefore, a working network connection between all data nodes and Db2 Warehouse is a prerequisite.
