Monitoring the appliance using the command line

When logged into the appliance though a terminal session, you can use the following commands to check the status of specified components or areas.

ap

Reports appliance state

ap info

Shows general information about the appliance

ap hw

Lists hardware inventory with status of each component

ap sw

Lists software inventory with status of each component

ap issues

Lists all issues

ap ds

Lists data slices and their states

ap fs

Lists all filesystems, mounts, NDSs and their states
