Resource configuration for a CUSTOM workload type service superclass

CUSTOM service superclasses are created with the default service superclass and subclass settings. However, if necessary you can create a custom service superclass with different settings.

To create a custom service superclass, issue the following statement:
CREATE SERVICE CLASS superclass_name

There is no pre-configuration done for any type of workload for a CUSTOM service superclass. CUSTOM service superclasses are used when you are building out and tuning a service class configuration by hand rather than using one of the predefined workload types. For example a user might choose to create a CUSTOM service superclass and then define their own set of service subclasses. CUSTOM service superclasses provide the same capability as in Db2 v11.1 and earlier where the WORKLOAD TYPE clause is not supported (that is, all user-defined service class configurations are customized).
