Updating available IBM Linux Tape Devices on IAS

You can use the appkg_install command to update the visible Linux Tape devices list on the system.

Procedure

Use the following command:

[apuser@node0101]# appkg_install lintapeupdatedevices --help
usage: appkg_install lintapeupdatedevices [-h] [-v]
                                          [--on_nodes {node0101,node0102,node0103,node0104,node0105,node0106,node0107} [{node0101,node0102,node0103,node0104,node0105,node0106,node0107} ...]]

Update IBM Tape Device Drivers for Linux

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -v, --verbose         increase output verbosity
  --on_nodes {node0101,node0102,node0103,node0104,node0105,node0106,node0107} [{node0101,node0102,node0103,node0104,node0105,node0106,node0107} ...]
                        A space separated list of nodes to update devices on:
                        if omitted, then all nodes will be updated
