Stored procedures

Use spatial stored procedures to create and maintain spatial catalog data.

You can call spatial stored procedures explicitly from an application program or issue a procedure call.

ST_ALTER_SRS procedure
Use this stored procedure to update a spatial reference system definition in the database. When this stored procedure is processed, information about the spatial reference system is updated in the SYSGEO.ST_SPATIAL_REFERENCE_SYSTEMS catalog view.
ST_CREATE_SRS procedure
Use the ST_CREATE_SRS stored procedure to create a spatial reference system.
ST_DROP_SRS procedure
Use this stored procedure to drop a spatial reference system.
ST_EXPORT_SHAPE procedure
Use this stored procedure to export a spatial column and its associated table to a shape file. The target shapefile must be located on the database server.
ST_IMPORT_SHAPE procedure
Use this stored procedure to import the spatial objects contained in a shapefile to a relational database table. The shapefile must be located on the database server.
ST_REFRESH_HASHFILTER procedure
Use this stored procedure to re-populate a geohash-filter table with geohash-cover values.
ST_REGISTER_SPATIAL_COLUMN procedure
Use this stored procedure to register a spatial column and to associate a spatial reference system (SRS) with it.
ST_SHAPEFILE_INFO procedure
Use this stored procedure to display information about a shapefile and its contents.
ST_UNREGISTER_SPATIAL_COLUMN procedure
Use this stored procedure to remove the registration of a spatial column.
