Licensing

All IBM® Application Gateway (IAG) deployments must track license usage. This is done by adding annotations to all IBM Application Gateway (IAG) containers/pods.

Tracking License usage

License usage is collected and audited by the IBM License Metric Tool. This tool provides an operator which can be deployed into container orchestration environments to automatically collect the required license usage metrics. More detailed information about installing and configuring this tool can be found in the ibm-licensing-operator project.
