Completing VPN planning work sheets

Use the VPN planning work sheets to gather detailed information about your VPN usage plans. You need to complete these work sheets to adequately plan your VPN strategy. You can also use this information to configure your VPN.

If you prefer, you can print and complete the planning work sheets to gather detailed information about your VPN usage plans.

Choose the work sheet for the type of connection you want to create.

• Planning work sheet for dynamic connections
• Planning work sheet for manual connections

If you will create multiple connections with similar properties, you might want to set the VPN defaults. The default values you configure seed the VPN property sheets. This means that you are not required to configure the same properties multiple times. To set the VPN defaults, select Edit from the VPN main menu, and then select Defaults.
