How the system restores existing document library objects

When you are restoring an existing document library object (DLO), the system skips the DLO and continues with the next one if either of these situations is true.

  • The DLO is in use.
  • You do not have the necessary authority.

If the existing document is damaged, some of the security information might be lost. The restore operation continues and a message is sent informing you that the document is damaged and some of the security information is lost.
