Determining which messages you want to monitor
If your programming language allows you to monitor error messages, you can choose which messages you want to monitor.
Here are some of the error messages that you can monitor.

| CPF502B | Error in trigger program |
| CPF502D | Referential constraint violation |
| CPF5030 | Partial damage on member |
| CPF5031 | Maximum number of record locks exceeded |
| CPF5032 | Record already allocated to job |
| CPF5033 | Select/omit error |
| CPF5034 | Duplicate key in another member's access path |
| CPF503A | Referential constraint violation |
| CPF5040 | Omitted record not retrieved |
| CPF5072 | Join value in member changed |
| CPF5079 | Commitment control resource limit exceeded |
| CPF5084 | Duplicate key for uncommitted key |
