Digital Certificate required for Host Connection Server (HCS) for secure connections (ACS and Navigator)

On IBM® i 7.6, the Host Connection Server (HostCNN Server or HCS) is a new IBM i host server that is used for authenticating and transferring new connections to other host servers. See Using host servers with secure connections.

Client applications like IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS) and IBM Navigator for i use HCS to make Transport Layer Security (TLS) secure connections.

Before using secure connections from these client applications, you will need to use Digital Certificate Manager (DCM) to assign a certificate to the new QIBM_QZBS_SVR_HOSTCNN application definition for the new IBM i Host Connection Server (HCS). Otherwise, the TLS connections will fail.
