Removing autostart job entries

You can remove an autostart job entry from a subsystem description by using the IBM Navigator for i interface or the character-based interface.

IBM Navigator for i

Expand Work Management > Subsystem Descriptions.
Select the Properies action for the desired subsystem description.
Click on the Autostart Job Entries tab, then click on the entry you want to change and select the Remove action from the Actions drop-down.

Command: Remove Autostart Job Entry (RMVAJE)

Example: The following example removes the autostart entry for the job START from the subsystem description ABC.

RMVAJE SBSD(USERLIB/ABC) JOB(START)

Note: For the changes to take effect the active subsystem must be ended and then restarted.
