Administration Runtime Expert (ARE)

The Administration Runtime Expert for i (ARE) product is being migrated to IBM® Navigator for i. ARE can help you ensure consistent performance and deployment for any workload running on your system.

The interface consists of two components, Templates and Console. For a full overview of ARE functionality, please visit the heritage ARE page.

• The Console interface is available in IBM Navigator for i on IBM i 7.6 HTTP group PTFs. It is recommended that you use the new Console.
• The Template interface is not yet complete in IBM Navigator for IBM i 7.6. To use the heritage ARE Template interface requires 5733-ARE. This line will be updated when the Template interface is available in Navigator.
• ARE core comes with IBM i 7.6.
