Managing nodes
System and logical partitions that are a part of an IBM® i high
availability environment are called nodes. You can perform several
managing tasks that pertain to nodes.
Displaying node properties
You can display and manage properties that are associated with nodes that are configured as part of your high-availability environment by using PowerHA commands.
Stopping nodes
Stopping or ending a node ends clustering and cluster resource services on that node.
Removing nodes
You might need to remove a node from a cluster if you are performing an upgrade of that node or if the node no longer needs to participate in the IBM i high-availability environment.
Removing a node from a device domain
A device domain is a subset of nodes in a cluster that share device resources.
