When configuring IBM i Access portlets for WebSphere Portal, you can create default WebSphere Portal pages populated with the IBM i Access portlets.

Customizing portlets
IBM i Access portlets are customized using edit mode settings. Most of the IBM i Access portlets require edit mode settings to be configured before they can be used.

Portal roles
In WebSphere Portal, access to portlets is controlled by roles. A role defines a set of permissions to a resource, such as a portlet, for a specific user or group.
