Use the IBM® Hybrid Cloud Mesh (Mesh) console
to delete Red Hat® Service Interconnect gateways from your deployment
environment.
About this task
If the gateway is deployed, you must first unlink the gateway from the namespace before you
can delete the gateway.
Procedure
- On the Gateways page in the Mesh console, click the
Red Hat Service Interconnect gateway that you want to delete.
- In the Connected namespaces section, click the namespace where the
gateway is running.
- On the Namespace details page, click Edit
.
- Click Undeploy, then click Next. Then click
Save changes to disconnect the gateway from the namespace. Click
Continue.
The gateway that you undeployed is now moved to the
Unmanaged gateways tab.
- In the
Health
field on the Gateways page, check the
status of the gateway. When the gateway has a Not deployed
status, you
can delete the gateway.
- Click the gateway that you undeployed. On the Edge gateway details
page, click Delete gateway.
When the gateway is deleted, the following notification is displayed:
The <gateway_name> was successfully deleted.
Note: The deletion of a gateway can take several minutes. Do not do any operations on the gateway
until it is no longer visible on the Mesh console.
