IBM® Hyper Protect Virtual Servers Version 2.1.1 introduces the following new features and enhancements:

Updated image

You can get the IBM Hyper Protect Container Runtime version 2.1.1 image from Passport Advantage. For more information, see Downloading the IBM Hyper Protect Container Runtime image.

Logging options

Apart from IBM Log Analysis, you can now configure logging with a generic syslog backend. For more information, see Logging for IBM Hyper Protect Virtual Servers.

Security claims on disk encryption

Both the root disk and data disks in the Hyper Protect Virtual Server instance are configured with Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) Encryption. You can verify the encryption status by checking related messages in the log. For more information, see Verifying disk encryption status.
